At UNOVA, our goal is to provide the best in orthopedic joint replacement and arthritis management. While our office is currently closed to help prevent the spread of infection, we are still servicing the needs of our patients.

UNOVA now offers Telemedicine!

We will now be able to see you for certain visits in the comfort of your home through our secure patient portal on the Healow App.


All Telemedicine is by appointment only. Call our office at 352-973-4070 during business hours to schedule your Telemedicine appointment.

Types of visits

In a Telemedicine Visit, we can see most follow-up and post-surgical patients as well as prescribe and refill medications, send orders for therapy and home health, and order any lab work.

New patient consults will also be available, however, we may need to schedule you to have x-rays and other diagnostic visits at an outside facility.


Because of COVID-19, insurance companies will cover the Telemedicine visit as they would a visit to the office.


Telemedicine visits are done through our secure patient portal or the Healow App.

UNOVA’s unique practice code for logging in is BJIGAD.

You can also email if you forgot your login credentials or have not received the registration email to access the patient portal.

For those patients without access to internet services, a smartphone, tablet, or laptop with a camera, we can arrange alternate ways for you to speak with your provider.

Please notify our scheduling team while making your appointment of any issues or restrictions you may have accessing technology.

We may be able to accommodate your Telemedicine visit using alternate methods such as Skype, FaceTime, or DrFirst.
